Step One Finance Limited (“Step One”) is urging loan seeking consumers to be aware of potential fraudsters operating both inside and outside of the United Kingdom that impersonate lenders and have purported to arrange loans in the name of established lenders. Scams such as these have been known to defraud members of the public by falsely purporting to arrange credit which can be secured by the payment of up-front arrangement or application fees.
Please note that Step One Finance does not charge any up-front fees. Fees are only due upon the successful completion of a Step One Finance loan.
